Got-to-be-NC Seafood Expo


The Got-to-Be NC Seafood Expo was a brand-new feature of the 2025 North Carolina Aquaculture Development Conference, designed to highlight the best of North Carolina’s seafood industry. This event brought together seafood producers and chefs to create bite-sized seafood dishes that showcase the quality, sustainability, and diversity of locally grown seafood.

Seafood producers & chefs

Seafood producers can partner with a chef—either one of their choice or an experienced chef from Carteret Community College’s culinary program—to prepare a dish featuring their seafood. This is a high-visibility opportunity to promote your product to buyers, consumers, and industry professionals.
